The concrete-lookalike laminate in the living room of this D’Wave condominium brings a trendy industrial touch to the space and diverts attention away from its narrow footprint. To add a further touch of realism, the designer from Posh Home cut the laminate sheets so that they resemble cast concrete panels. Illumination from the spotlights above brings an illusion of depth to the wall textures.

Homes touched with Scandinavian inspiration use light-hued wood to achieve that bright and naturalistic airy feel. In this room setting, the Lamitak Luuk Oak Giethoorn laminate clads one entire wall, showcasing its large-format print which comes amazingly close to the organic grain of real wood.

Fancy a cafe-look for your home? This home at Punggol Walk, designed by Meter Square, nails it with laminate that resembles raw planks cladding its breakfast counter. Using laminate with a printed pattern of planks will definitely save you lots of time, money and effort compared to using raw wood, and is so much easier to clean as well!

Modern LuxurY

The hotel look and feel is always popular with Singapore homeowners, and it is replicated here in the bedroom of this condominium apartment by Prozfile. Dark walls and a dark wood laminate for the wardrobe are a perfect pairing – providing a restful ambience as well as a good measure of cosiness in the space.

Retro Fun

Demonstrating that you can do much more with laminates, the feature wall of this living setting sports a fun collage of beige and red laminates arranged in a geometric pattern to suggest a modern-retro vibe for the space. The lighter-coloured Lamitak Koto Kuroki laminate actually has a subtle textile-inspired pattern, which gives it more depth than using a solid colour.
